Whats the difference between “Bridge to 10k” and “Ease to 10k.”
on March 19, 2010 on 6:33 am
Hi Marcus,
Bridge to 10K is a 6 week program that is designed for people who have completed the Couch to 5K and wish to increase the distance to 10k. The running intervals start at 10 minutes so you do more running from the start. It a bridge form 5k to 10k distance.
Ease into 10K is a 10 week program for people who want to go to 10K distance from the start. The running intervals start at 3 minutes so it is more gradual then the Bridge to 10K

Is there any layout of the Bridge to 10K plan available to show what is involved in the six week plan? Who designed this plan? Also, is there a demo App or Youtube video available to demonstrate how the app functions? I am a couple weeks from completing C25K and looking to move onto a 10K app, I’d like to know what kind of plan I’m purchasing.

Hi Dan,
You can see the outline here: http://blog.c25kapp.com/2010/01/19/10k-running-plan/
Bridge to 10k plan starts from Week 6. My wife and I designed it with the feedback from the community.
Happy running!

Hi Alex & Tanya, good job on the C25K. I’m only on week 2 and am interested in the Bridge to 10k. In the reviews of the B210K, someone stated that GPS is needed. Is that saying that I will not be able to use this app outside of my home where I’ll have no wifi for my iPod touch? Is this app only compatible with the iPhone?
Would you please create a pushup app similar to your 5k & 10k apps.
Thank you,
Kim G.

Hi Kimberly,
You can use the Bridge to 10k app on your iPod touch outside your home. It doesn’t need internet connection during the workout. And the app does not use GPS.

I started the bridge to 10k program (after completing the c25k) and I love it. I just purchased a new Android phone and I was sad to see your app wasnt listed in the app store. Help. I’m lost without a program to keep me going.

Hi Myesha,
Glad you love our program, but sorry we do not have it available for the Android.

I don’t suppose you ever plan to release this app (and the C25K original) for Droid? I run with yours on my iPod Touch because I like it better than any of the apps I’ve found for Droid, but I’d rather run using my phone so I have it with me…

Hi Megan,
Thanks for your interest in our app. We do not have it available for the Droid yet. Perhaps we will look into making one available for that phone as well.

Hi there,
Can you tell me if this is compatible with an iPod Nano? Thanks for your time!
on July 19, 2010 on 9:09 am
Hi Tracy,
Thank you for your question. The C25K app is not available for the iPod Nano. Currently the app only works on the iPod Touch and iPhone. If you are interested in the C25K training program you can Google Couch to 5K podcasts and download for free.
Good luck!

Hi,
Is there anyway to change the voice on the bridge to 10k to the one that is used on the couch to 5k? I’ve gotten used to her voice.
Thanks,
Michael
on July 19, 2010 on 9:05 am
Hi Michael,
We only have one male voice on all three of our running apps. We do have a female voice as an option yet, but we do have it ready. Perhaps in a future update we will add it.
